FOX LAW through its owner, attorney Julie E. Fox, concentrates its practice in the area of probate law including guardianship matters for disabled adults,  minors' estates, decedents' estates and probate litigation. Additionally, Julie E. Fox serves as court-appointed special representative for decedents in foreclosure proceedings and proudly serves as court-appointed attorney for active duty servicemembers who are named as defendants in mortgage foreclosure actions.

Julie began her career practicing law at the Office of the Public Guardian of Cook County, Illinois, where she represented abused and neglected children. She then went into private practice and broadened her career to include real estate litigation, commercial litigation and probate matters. In 2010, Julie joined her mother, also an attorney, in founding FOX LAW.  Since 2014, Julie has been the sole owner of FOX LAW s.  She represents parties in both routine and contested guardianship matters for disabled adults and children, as well as parties to decedents' probate estates.  She is regularly appointed by the courts to serve as a guardian ad litem or to represent an objecting respondent.

In Chancery Divisions throughout the State of Illinois, courts regularly appoint Julie as a Special Representative in foreclosure cases to represent the interests of deceased parties. The courts also regularly appoint Julie to represent active duty servicemembers who are named defendants in foreclosure actions pursuant to the SCRA (Servicemembers Civil Relief Act). 

Areas of concentration: probate litigation, including guardianship cases involving disabled adults and children, as well as decedents' estates. Serving as a Special Representative and court-appointed SCRA attorney in mortgage foreclosure matters.
